Born in the midst of books, Jean-François writes for both the young and the young at heart. After studying anthropology and writing some texts about Haiti, he returns to his first loves and dedicates himself to literature. He has received several awards, including the Prix Jeunesse des libraires du Québec for Au carrefour (2019) and the Governor General's Award in Canada for Les avenues (2021).
