Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, in 1971, Paul Bossé is a poet, filmmaker, playwright and performance artist.
Deeply involved in Acadian culture, he has made several documentary and experimental films, including Kacho Komplo (NFB, 2002). He has also created a number of video installations and artistic events. In addition to plays produced with the Moncton-Sable collective, he is the author of six collections of poetry published by Éditions Perce-Neige between 2001 and 2020.
Winner of an Éloize award in the "Artist of the Year in Film/Video/Television" category (2003), he also received the Prix La Vague-Léonard Forest for "Best Acadian Work", awarded by the Festival international de cinéma francophone en Acadie, for Moncton Vinyle (2011) and Les sceaux d'Utrecht (2014).
In 2022, he was named Poète lauréat francophone de la Ville de Moncton and Poète flyé du Festival Frye.
