Luba Markovskaia is a literary translator and holds a PhD in French literature. She was shortlisted for the French CBC Nonfiction Prize and the Governor General's Award for Translation and has received the John-Glassco Translation Prize. She sits on the editorial board of Spirale and is a board member for LTAC. Her writing and translations can be found in journals such as Estuaire, Lettres québécoises, Nuit blanche, Spirale, Moebius, et Tristesse.
