Sébastien Lord-Émard is an Acadian queer activist and writer. He resides in the unceded territory of Mi'kma'ki. Sébastien has published poetry, essays on the visual arts and an "Égoportrait du poète en burnout" in the collective En cas d'incendie, prière de ne pas sauver ce livre (Éditions Prise de parole, Sudbury, 2021). Since 2020, Sébastien Lord-Émard has been employed by the Société de l'Acadie du Nouveau-Brunswick (SANB), where he is Director of Development. Between grant applications, he can be seen opposing different systems of oppression from an intersectional perspective, (fair trade) coffee in hand.
