Mimi Haddam questions the relationship between form and matter, as well as the porosity between the body and environments. By investing the need to claim one's own legitimacy through writing guided by the body and affects, Mimi Haddam bears witness to the power of sensitive experience to act and transform both intimate and collective identity. Her projects, in search of sensitive movements, invest uncertain spaces without watertight forms. Mimi Haddam is the author of Petite brindille de catastrophes (Éditions de la Tournure, 2017, expanded reprint 2019), Il existe un palais de teintes et d'hyperboles (Noroit, Coll. Omri, 2018) and Attends de m'enterrer pour chanter (Noroît, Coll. Adelphe, 2023). Her work has been shown at Ateliers Belleville (2018, Montreal), Galerie AVE (2020, Montreal), Espace Transmission (2020, Montreal), La Maison des artistes visuels francophones (2023, Winnipeg), Galerie d'art Louise-et-Reuben-Cohen (2023, Moncton) and Galerie de l'UQAM (2023, Montreal). Mimi Haddam has also been published in various magazines, including Revue ESSE, Revue Estuaire and La Revue Moebius.
