Pianist and writer Pierre-André Doucet is renowned for his vivid soundscapes and inventive texts. He is the author of Sorta comme si on était déjà là (2012, winner of the prix Éloizes in the Découverte de l’année category) and of Des dick pics sous les étoiles (2020), both published by Éditions Prise de parole. He has also written texts for Ancrages, Impossible Archetypes, and Voix plurielles.
Pierre-André Doucet holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance from the Université de Montréal, where he has also been a guest professor. His musical projects have seen him perform all over the world and have earned him many prizes and awards. Since 2012, he has been the Co-Artistic Director of the Barachois Summer Music series.
