Born in Port-au-Prince, raised in Saguenay, Stanley Péan is a writer, journalist, screen writer, literary translator, lyricist and radio personality. Since 1988, he has published thirty books in various genres. His most recent, Noir satin, was nominated for the 2024 Governor General's Award in the best essay category.
