Emily Austin

Emily Austin currently resides in Ottawa/the territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation. Her first novel, Everyone In This Room Will Someday Be Dead (Washington Square Press, 2022) was longlisted for The Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour and shortlisted for the Amazon First Novel Award. Emily Austin is the recipient of two Canada Council for the Arts grants, and is currently editing her second novel and her first poetry book.
