Like all land, ours tells a detailed and complex story. Because the farm cannot be separated from the efforts of our predecessors or the future of our progeny, we balance the challenge of honouring the hard work of our ancestors with the challenge of ensuring a healthy and sustainable future for those who follow us. Time, people and places have changed, but even so, we imagine that our feelings of triumph, struggle and excitement are the same as they were many years ago. We feel incredibly fortunate to have the privilege of continuing these traditions, to feel this contact with the past and to have the opportunity to continue to make history for those who are yet to come.
