Originaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, sur les terres ancestrales non cédées des Mi’kmaq, Danielle LeBlanc a étudié en littérature et a œuvré en communications-markéting avant de prendre la direction du Festival Frye de 2010 à 2017. Après avoir complété une maitrise en traduction littéraire en Irlande, elle offre ses services de traductrice et de consultante indépendante à des organismes culturels et littéraires de la région. Elle est présentement inscrite au doctorat à Trinity College Dublin, où elle étudie la traduction minoritaire dans le contexte acadien, et elle dirige la collection Littoral des Éditions Perce-Neige. Ses traductions ont paru dans Cadence. Voix féminines / Female Voices (Frog Hollow Press, 2020).
