Annick MacAskill is a poet and translator. She has published four full-length collections of poetry, including Shadow Blight (Gaspereau Press, 2022), which won the Governor General’s Award for Poetry, and Votive (Gaspereau Press, 2024). She is a member of Room Magazine’s editorial collective and the publisher of micropress Opaat Press. MacAskill lives in Kjipuktuk (Halifax, Nova Scotia), on the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq.
