Katherine Rae Diemert est une artiste visuelle basée à Halifax, en Nouvelle-Écosse, qui réalise des œuvres interactives en techniques mixtes explorant notre relation avec les environnements naturels et numériques. Katherine a obtenu son baccalauréat spécialisé en illustration en 2015 au Sheridan College, puis est retournée en tant qu'instructrice pour enseigner les concepts et disciplines de l'illustration, ainsi que l'illustration et le commentaire contemporains, entre autres. En 2019, Katherine a fréquenté l'école de calcul poétique à New York où elle a étudié l'art, le code, le matériel et la théorie critique. Katherine a récemment obtenu son diplôme du programme de maîtrise en beaux-arts de l'Université NSCAD, avec une spécialisation dans les médias élargis. Elle a été artiste en résidence au Factory Media Centre et à la Roundtable Residency, et a exposé dans toute l'Amérique du Nord. Dans ses recherches et sa pratique en studio, Katherine s'intéresse aux expériences matérielles, à l'art avec la science et à la réimagination de notre relation avec la technologie.
