
Jean Babineau was born in Moncton and lives in Grand Barachois, New Brunswick. A novelist, short story writer and playwright, he has published three novels with Éditions Perce-Neige, the most recent of which, Vortex, won the Prix Antonine-Maillet Acadie Vie in 2004.
