Jack Wong est né à Hong Kong et a grandi à Vancouver. En 2010, il a laissé derrière lui une carrière d'ingénieur de ponts pour étudier les beaux-arts à l'Université NSCAD à Kjipuktuk/Halifax. Travaillant désormais en tant qu'auteur et illustrateur pour enfants, Jack cherche à partager son parcours sinueux avec les jeunes lecteurs afin qu'ils puissent embrasser les amalgames uniques d'expériences qui composent leur propre vie. Ses livres primés comprennent When You Can Swim (Scholastic) et The Words We Share (Annick Press).
